Local Residential Alcohol And Drug Rehab In Rutland

Located in the East Midlands, Rutland is a county that shares boundaries with Northamptonshire to the southeast, Lincolnshire to the northeast and Leicestershire to the north and west. Being the fourth smallest county in the UK and the smallest historic county in England, there aren’t many addiction treatment options within Rutland. However, you can benefit from rehab facilities in neighbouring counties, including Primrose Lodge.

Addiction causes devastating health problems and induces unpleasant withdrawal symptoms when you attempt to quit. While it may seem that you’re stuck with no way out, recovery is possible. With the right help, you’ll be able to find the right addiction treatment solution for you.

The first place to look for help is your GP’s office, where you can be assessed; this is a necessary step for determining the extent and nature of your addiction. In turn, this makes it easier to determine the appropriate addiction treatment method for you. For instance, you’ll get to find out whether you need a dual diagnosis facility if you’re found to have a co-occurring disorder.

A Brief Overview of the Services Offered at Primrose Lodge

At Primrose Lodge, the services we offer are designed to ensure you can get the best possible help to achieve a full recovery. We offer a varied range of treatment programmes, delivered by qualified staff – many who have been through addiction recovery themselves and know exactly what it’s like to be in your shoes. Some of the treatment options we offer include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a proven therapy technique that is highly effective for mental and physical health issues.

  • Trauma Therapy

This therapy type aims to uncover the original causes of an addiction, ensuring treatment goes beyond the symptoms alone.

  • 12-Step

The 12-step model is tried and tested, so we continue to apply this at Primrose Lodge to achieve a successful recovery from addiction.

  • Music Therapy

We have witnessed the healing power of music first-hand and believe you’ll benefit from this timeless means of self-expression.

  • Meditation

Meditation allows you to balance your breathing, improve blood pressure and learn how to focus, which is crucial during the addiction recovery process.

In addition to world-class addiction treatment, we provide a comfortable facility in which you can enjoy the comforts of home as you recover. Our facility is 136 miles away from Rutland and for your convenience, we provide a free sober transport service to and from our facility, before and after treatment.

Pros and Cons of Private Rehab

Private rehab implies you will have to bear the responsibility of paying for addiction treatment yourself, either through your health insurance or other means. In spite of this, it remains a widely popular option due to its many benefits, some of which include:

  • Better quality of care

At a private rehabilitation facility, you are assured of better quality care for a number of reasons. Firstly, the staff-to-patient ratios are lower, meaning the treatment staff can focus more closely on each individual case of addiction, allowing them time to get to the root of the addiction and tackling it from there.

Also, you’re more likely to find specialists of various kinds in a private rehab centre, including experts that specialise in dual diagnosis and others who deliver less popular treatment options like acupuncture, for instance. In addition, you will be under medical surveillance round-the-clock.

  • Better amenities

Private rehab centres can afford to pay extra attention to the needs and desires of patients; so much so, they often make provision for amenities that clients would like to have at their disposal. These can include private suites, spa sessions, gym passes, swimming pool access, depending on the facility you choose. At Primrose Lodge, our amenities are sure to keep you comfortable throughout your treatment programme.

  • More therapy types

Private rehab centres make it possible for you to choose from a wider range of therapy types and treatment options. This means you can expect the facility to offer less common treatments alongside more conventional ones. For instance, we offer CBT, as well as art therapy, music therapy and trauma therapy, amongst others.

Although there are more advantages to private rehab treatment, there are still a few perceived disadvantages, including:

  • Time-consuming

Due to the fact that you’ll have to reside in the facility for the duration of treatment, inpatient rehab may not seem ideal, especially if you’re required to stay for weeks or even months. This can be a problem if you’re working or have to go to school. However, this can be rectified by undergoing inpatient detox for a few days to a week, before continuing treatment on an outpatient basis.

  • Cost

Private rehab is expensive for many. However, with a flexible payment plan, we can help ease the burden of having to pay for treatment all at once.

How Much Does Rehab Cost in Rutland?

We cannot provide a definitive figure for the cost of rehab in Rutland, because addiction treatment facilities tend to vary widely in terms of pricing. For example, there are varying treatment plans and numerous options, which in turn can carry different price tags. Also, the duration of treatment will affect the total amount you pay. Typically, the first week or two will be a fixed rate, with subsequent weeks costing less.

The amount you have to pay for rehab is determined by the costs the facility incurs in order to deliver its services. Most rehabs have to deal with general costs, such as licensing renewal fees and salaries for staff (both medical and non-medical). There are also other overheads that can explain why the prices of services differ from one treatment facility to the next. These include the types of amenities offered and the location of the facility, amongst others.

Generally, more affordable rehabs in Rutland may cost anywhere from 900 to £1,300 per week, while luxury rehabs can cost roughly £9,000 per week. These figures are not set in stone and can vary widely. At Primrose Lodge, we combine the best of comfort and affordability to ensure you can get the treatment you deserve, without having to dig too deep.

How to Choose a Recovery Programme

To choose the appropriate recovery programme for you or a loved one, you’ll need to understand the nature and extent of your addiction. Your GP’s office or an addiction treatment specialist should be your first port of call. After an assessment, you should know whether dual diagnosis treatment is required and if inpatient or outpatient treatment would be ideal.

Some of the questions you should ask before you choose a treatment programme include:

  • What is the philosophy of the programme (for example, secular or religious)?
  • What types of therapy are available and are you comfortable with them?
  • Is there a minimum duration of treatment; if so, what is it?
  • Can the facility in question treat your particular addiction?
  • Do the staff have experience dealing with your addiction?
  • What are the policies about visits?
  • What amenities are available?
  • Is there an aftercare programme and how does it work?
