Local Residential Alcohol And Drug Rehab In The West Midlands
Some people are fully aware of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. However, nothing prepares you for the full effects of addiction or its impact on families. Drugs are never 100% safe. When you take larger than advised doses of your prescription medication, use illicit drugs, or drink large quantities of alcohol, you put your internal organs, especially your liver, through additional stress, sometimes more than they can handle. These mind-altering substances can be responsible for drunk driving accidents, domestic violence, and many other risk-taking and illegal behaviours.
Addiction destroys your relationships with your loved ones. Your children, parents, siblings, and partner are not as important as your next hit. Your performance at work suffers, and you spend all your savings and/or income funding your addictive behaviour. Your next hit could result in an overdose or cause irreversible damage. Rehab centres are staffed with experienced professionals, who help to remove the addictive substances from your body. You’ll also learn to understand the underlying reasons for why you abused drugs/alcohol in the first place, and develop coping skills for living a drug-free life.

The Pros and Cons of Private Rehab
The Pros
A major feature of private rehab in the West Midlands is the excellent quality of care patients receive. Treatment is conducted in a therapeutic environment that eliminates all triggers and ensures patients are completely focused on their recovery.
Prior to attending rehab, you won’t have had the required skills to cope with triggers or identify when you were in a risky situation. In a private rehab, you learn to be more in-tune with your feelings and thoughts. This helps you recognise potential trigger situations, and equips you with the tools to deal with triggers without relapsing.
Treatment at a private rehab is holistic, treating every part of your body, mind, spirit and soul. You will have access to exercise therapy, mindfulness-based meditation, art therapy, garden therapy, music therapy, and other alternative therapies.
The Cons
Treatment is more expensive than government-funded options
How Much Does Rehab Cost in the West Midlands?
There are several factors that influence the cost of treatment, such as the location of the rehab centre, size of the programme, number of therapies used in treatment, and type of treatment.
If you opt for a standard rehab, prices range from £5,000-£7,000 a month. This is covers accommodation, therapies, detox, food, and other amenities. If you opt for a luxury rehab, treatment costs between £10,000-£15,000 a week.

How to Choose a Recovery Programme
A few tips to help you choose a rehab programme include:
The size of the facility: Smaller programmes are best for patients who require intensive treatment. They have a larger staff to patient ratio, and so are able to offer more personalised care to clients.
Personalised treatment: Treatment should be personalised to fit your unique needs. There is no one-size-fits-all method for guaranteed success. Your medical team must consider all the factors that led to your addiction, and the results of your psych evaluation and physical exam when creating your treatment plan.
Aftercare provisions: Aftercare is an integral part of treatment. Ensure that your rehab centre of choice offers aftercare services. We offer a complimentary one-year aftercare to all alumni of Primrose Lodge.

Getting around Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, and the rest of West Midlands, is easy with a good network of taxis, trains, flights, buses, and coach. The major city, Birmingham, is very busy, so it’s not recommended you try to get around with a car during rush hours. Solihull is a small city, so you can get around most of the town on foot. The main train station is in Birmingham, and it connects to Liverpool, Manchester, Leicester, and the rest of the UK. There are stations in Coventry, Moor Street, and Snow Hill, that run local services to nearby destinations.
Birmingham Airport welcomes airlines and flights from over 100 destinations. It is connected via the M42 motorway and the mainline rail network. The local bus system in Coventry is operated by the Travel Coventry company. Buses run through the county and outlying towns of Warwick, Kenilworth, and Stratford.
